Tadler Fellowships in Impact Investing

Tadler Fellowships in Impact Investing provide funding to students to explore the field of impact investing and pursue careers in the field. This year’s focus is on how impact investing can improve lives, opportunities and local economies in Appalachia and southwest Virginia. In addition to SI@UVA’s J-term in Impact Investing, there are two ways to pursue a fellowship:

  • J-Term

Join us for the experiential education course Impact Investing in Action, when we will engage in a virtual exploration of southwest Virginia and Appalachia to meet the entrepreneurs and impact investors working together to make our rural communities an even more enticing place to live, work, and start companies. Registration for the course will be open to all and is expected to fill up quickly. The application deadline has been extended through November 8th.

  • MAY TERM

Join us in May as we offer the experiential education course Impact Investing in Action, when we will travel to southwest Virginia and Appalachia to meet the entrepreneurs and impact investors working together to make our rural communities an even more enticing place to live, work, and start companies. Stipends of $2,000 are available for participating students. Registration for the course will be open to all and is expected to fill up quickly. Applications are currently closed.

  • SUMMER INTERNSHIP

Interested in a summer internship with an impact investing firm located or investing in southwest Virginia and Appalachia? We are offering 5 $3,000 summer fellowship stipends to support students with internships in the field. You can submit a qualifying internship you already have secured, or come speak to us during office hours to hear of firms we know and to be matched with opportunities. Learn more HERE. Applications are now closed.
